Project : P2: Cultural Considerations and Community Engagement
A central part of our approach was rooted in understanding the unique needs of Islamic schools and engaging with the community to ensure the project aligned with their expectations. The cultural significance of privacy, gender separation, and respect for the environment played a crucial role in the planning and execution phases.
We conducted numerous consultations with school administrators, religious leaders, and parents to ensure that the playgrounds would meet the highest standards while respecting Islamic traditions. Separate play areas for boys and girls were carefully designed to maintain privacy without compromising on play space or functionality. This allowed students to enjoy active play in an environment that honored their cultural and religious values.
